NanoFocus® μSurf® confocal microscope offers the unique possibility to precisely measure optically complex surface structures with high vertical and lateral resolution. The number of optical artefacts is minimised. The measurement results and comparisons using surface roughness standards of the “Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt” show an unique correspondence with the tactile instruments. NanoFocus® μSurf® enables fast, careful and non-contact characterisation, which is most important for sensitive surfaces. Large samples can automatically be measured by stitching basic fields.
